I went to a Barber state board meeting recently in the state of _______. A Hispanic barber was trying to get the board to allow him to take the test in Spanish. He passed the practical part with no problem but kept failing the written section. One board member said it would cost $70,000 for them to transfer the test in every language. Another board member said, "If I was in Mexico they wouldn't give me the test in English." The board decided not to allow the person to have a translator or give the exam in Spanish. Fair or not???
