Barbershop Owner info: Part 6
As the leaves change and it gets colder, now is a good time to start running those shop specials. How about kids discounts? Many shops have $7 or $8 Tues or Wed. for kids. I recommend at least 1 discounted day for the kids; pick your slowest day. Of course the price depends on what your shop charges normally. If your shop is normally $12 for kids, charge $10 on your discount day. If you normally charge $10, your discount day could be $8. Try it, spread the word, and watch your shop grow.80's look-pt. 2
By the way, can you cut this????

Our dog Sampson
I never was a big pitbull fan until 2003. The company decided to get one without my knowledge and I was like, "What the hell, it's a puppy!" Then, that little 5lb pup started getting bigger, stronger, and faster. He was never mean or vicious though. He loved B.O.M. and we loved Sampson. He was a good dog for 4 years but we had to get rid of him; then he had an unfortunate accident. Previously, someone in our condo said that pit's were not allowed. It's funny; after we got rid of ours some "other" people got pitbulls and then it was ok. Hmm..... Anyway, we miss Sampson. R.I.P.
Kanyeezy and B.O.M. still number 1!
B.O.M.-Wassup man, my shops in the Chi tell me you are doing things.
Kanye- Thanks man, I remember when we had to ask dudes to take our pics.
B.O.M.- No doubt. How often do you get your haircut?
Kanye-Everyday, sometimes 3 times a day; depends what is going on.
B.O.M.-That's crazy! Good looking out and much success.
Kanye-Thanks fam!
Special thanks to Kanye and his barber IBN.
Barbershop Talk: T.I. pt.1

It was all good just a year ago. I remember Barbers Only Magazine was invited to the afterparty of "ATL" and everyone was having a good time. My boy T.I. showed us love (no homo) and we congratulated him on his movie and recording career. Damn. How times have changed. The barbershops are talking. Was he setup? Who knows, the info is still coming in as we speak. We hope for the best homey.

V.I.P. Atlanta and Barbers Only Magazine were participants at the Aids Walk 2007 this past Sunday at Piedmont Park. The event raises money for aids research, treatment and victim care. Thanks to R.M. of V.I.P. Atlanta for allowing us to roll with his team this year. His organization was one of the highest grossing fundraisers this year. Check out http://www.vipatlanta.com/ for future events.
